Rationale
Problem: Currently, acquiring ZRA requires multiple steps across different platforms, creating significant friction for new users. There is no direct fiat-to-ZRA purchase option.
Solution: A licensed fiat onramp provides CEX-like convenience without centralization, custody risk, or dependency on third-party exchanges.
Benefit to ZERA:
  • Removes primary adoption barrier
  • Enables Web user onboarding
  • Provides institutional-grade compliance
  • Maintains decentralization principles
  • Competitive 4.9% transaction fee for users
Alignment with ZERA Values:
  • Decentralization: Non-custodial, no exchange dependency
  • Accessibility: Global reach, simple user experience
  • Compliance: Licensed infrastructure, regulatory clarity
  • Autonomy: Community-controlled via governance
Why External Implementation:
  • Specialized expertise in payment infrastructure
  • Existing relationships with licensed payment processors
  • Faster deployment than in-house development
  • Regulatory compliance already established
This infrastructure positions ZERA as accessible to mainstream users while maintaining its governance-first, decentralized architecture.
Giving Back to the ZERA Community

A small percentage of the transaction fee is available to the proposer. With this in mind, 0,1% of transaction gross volume (from the total purchase amount) of any token supported through our platform on the ZERA Network (or derivatives) will be donated to the ZERA treasury.
